About

The NECC program provides quality preschool experience that supports the development of each child through exciting academic, cognitive, emotional, language, physical, and creative learning activities. Using age-appropriate content and approaches, our expert staff applies strategies and techniques that incorporate Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS).

Our facility is a newly renovated, state-of-the art facility with 6 classrooms that are each staffed by a certified teacher and classroom paraprofessional. In addition to our teachers, NECC is supported by Speech/Language Pathologists, School Psychologist, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapist, a social worker, school psychologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We also have a full time nurse on site at all times.

Our program is an inclusive program that is comprised of both typically developing children and children with special needs. NECC encourages all children’s growth and discovery through a language enriched program in a sensory-sensitive environment.

NECC has partnered with experts in the community to provide weekly music with music therapists as well as developmentally appropriate physical education class.  We also have a visiting librarian program through Norwalk Public Library!
